Sifang is in the leading position on the technologies of protection relay devices and automation systems in the power system in China.
Mr.Yang Qixun, chairman of the director board, also an academician of Chinese Engineering Academy, is the pioneer of microprocessor-based protection relay area in China. The technologies and products developed by Sifang’s R&D team have always been in the leading position in the relevant fields in China over the last decade. Sifang has been honored various prizes by the State Council, relevant Ministries and Beijing municipal government. With its advanced technologies and excellent products, Sifang has made great contributions to the key projects of Chinese power utilities, such as the Three Gorges Project, Power Transmission from West to East, Nationwide Power Grid Networking as well as Power Grid Renovation in Urban and Rural Districts.
